A2 Key is the first exam among Cambridge English Qualifications exams. It is available in two versions: for children and adolescents – A2 Key for Schools and A2 Key for adults.

A2 Key for Schools / A2 Key – about the exam:

• It is dedicated for candidates whose language abilities are at A2 level according to the CEFR scale
• It tests basic language skills, e.g. understanding of simple written and spoken texts, abilities to communicate in everyday situations

A2 Key (KET)

A2 Key consists of the following components:

• Reading & Writing: 70 minutes
• Listening: approximately 30 minutes
• Speaking: 10 – 12 minutes

A2 Key exam is also available as A2 Key for Schools, which covers topics adjusted to the interests of school students.
