What is the Cambridge English Scale?

How are Pre-A1 Starters, A1 Movers and A2 Flyers tests assessed?

Each candidate taking the Pre-A1 Starters, A1 Movers and A2 Flyers test receives a certificate confirming their language level. The scoring is presented in the form of shields for individual language skills:
– Reading & Writing,
– Listening,
– Speaking.
A candidate can receive a maximum of 5 shields for each part of the test, totaling a maximum of 15 shields for the entire Pre-A1 Starters and A1 Movers exams, and 20 for the A2 Flyers test.
