
Funded as part of the Union’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic
LANG LTC Limited Liability Company is implementing a project titled: “Implementation of process innovations regarding information and documentation flow and communication between candidates and the LANG LTC Exam Centre Ltd., as well as the management of examination session organization, through the acquisition of programming services, necessitated by the need to introduce changes in the Applicant’s enterprise operations due to the COVID-19 pandemic”
The project is co-financed by European Funds under the Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014-2020, Measure 6.2 Support for SMEs in the area of digitalization – Digitalization Vouchers (call no. 1/2021).
Brief Project Description
The project involves the implementation of a custom-developed software solution, which will result in the improvement of 2 business processes carried out by the Applicant’s company:
1. Improvement of the information and documentation flow process and precise communication between the LANG LTC Exam Centre and clients (candidates for language certification) by eliminating the need for personal contact, which is related to the necessity of changing the company’s mode of operation during the COVID-19 pandemic
2. Improvement of the session organization management process by implementing online standardization activities, in order to limit direct contact between employees and collaborators of the LANG LTC Exam Centre during the COVID-19 pandemic.
To implement the project, the Applicant planned to purchase a programming service, which will result in the creation of custom-developed software for the Applicant, along with the transfer of copyright to this software to the Applicant.
As a result of the project’s implementation, the 2 business processes mentioned above will be improved within the scope of activities related to comprehensive examination session management.
These process changes directly contribute to reducing direct contact between candidates, examiners, and invigilators with centre staff, and to automating information flow and communication.
The project is therefore justified from the Applicant’s perspective, as they must adapt their business model to the conditions that arose during the COVID-19 pandemic, in order to effectively manage examination sessions and to secure against similar problems in the future.
Project Objectives
The objective of the project is to improve the implementation of business processes in the Applicant’s company, as a result of which the Applicant will enhance its competitive position, confirm its responsiveness and ability to react quickly to changing circumstances, which is valued by clients and business partners.
The implemented solution aims to improve the quality of service for its clients (candidates) by offering a faster and more user-friendly method of communication and registration for examination sessions.
The Applicant assumes that the implementation of the project solution will enable them to achieve the intended long-term effects, which will subsequently lead to easier acquisition of new clients and business partners.
As a result, the session management process will be fully automated, making it more useful and secure, which will lead to an increased number of clients utilizing the Applicant’s services. This will translate into increased revenue and an improved market position.
Project Outcomes
As a result of the project’s implementation, a comprehensive platform is planned for the remote management of the communication system, registration for examination sessions, and management during the preparation, organization, and conduct of language certification.
For this purpose, the Applicant planned to purchase programming services (1 comprehensive service), which will result in the creation of custom-developed software for the Applicant, along with the transfer of copyright to this software to the Applicant.
The outcome of the project will be the implementation of a process innovation, as a result of which 2 business processes carried out in the Applicant’s company will be improved.
Anticipated Project Results / Planned Outcomes
The result of the project will be the implementation of 1 process innovation, consisting of the creation and implementation of a comprehensive platform for remote management of the communication system, registration for examination sessions, and management during the preparation, organization, and conduct of language certification, as a result of which 2 business processes carried out in the Applicant’s company will be improved:
1. Improvement of the information and documentation flow process and precise communication between the LANG LTC Exam Centre and clients (candidates for language certification) by eliminating the need for personal contact, which is related to the necessity of changing the company’s mode of operation during the COVID-19 pandemic
2. Improvement of the session organization management process by implementing online standardization activities, in order to limit direct contact between employees and collaborators of the LANG LTC Exam Centre during the COVID-19 pandemic.
